FoodWell continues the dynamic development of its factory in Janów Podlaski. As the company’s founder emphasizes, the factory’s location is one of its competitive advantages. The town, with its unique atmosphere, is situated in an area rich in forests and natural greenery, while also being logistically close to the under-construction A2 motorway, making it a key point on the map of a company built over decades.
– The choice of Janów Podlaski as the main factory location is no coincidence. FoodWell embraces a “healthy living” lifestyle. This is expressed not only through our high-quality products made with natural ingredients but also through the company’s philosophy. We operate with the professionalism typical of major international enterprises, but we strive not to become a corporation. Instead, we focus on relationships, closeness, and ecology. – explains Marian Owerko, founder and chairman of the Supervisory Board of FoodWell.

– “We have weekends here every day,” smiles Paweł Szczurek, says the Director of Quality and Sustainable Development, Paweł Szczurek, who consciously chose Janów Podlaski as the place for his career and life, leaving behind the hustle of a big city. – “Right after work, I hop on my bike or put on my running shoes and hit the forest trails. That’s an advantage you won’t find in the city. Working in a large production facility is a huge responsibility, which sometimes naturally brings tension. However, here in Janów Podlaski, you only need to look around to understand the significance of being able to connect with nature every day.” – he adds.
The management at FoodWell emphasizes that Janów Podlaski is developing in synergy with the factory. Thanks to its operation, residents who had previously left for studies in Lublin, Olsztyn, Białystok, or Warsaw are returning. The business’s success, with revenues in the hundreds of millions and products sold in over 70 countries, breaks the stereotype of the “Eastern Wall” as a “place to escape from.”
– We actively collaborate with local universities, creating dedicated educational projects. We guarantee students and graduates the opportunity to build a career in a professionally operated environment, on par with the largest centers in Poland or abroad. Collaboration with local authorities, continuously improving infrastructure, and the opportunity to connect with nature are key factors contributing to the success of this project. In our factories in Janów Podlaski and Włocławek, we produce 500 million packages of healthy products annually, placing us among the largest factories in our industry in Europe. – adds Marian Owerko.
